YOUTH MINISTRY
Our vision is to create spaces where young people thrive; have fun, realise identity, love God, influence society, become a disciple of Jesus. We do this as a family, journeying together with lots of laughter and encouragement!
If you’re in school years 7-13, come and join us!
WHEN TO COME
SUNDAY MORNING
We know that time is precious for our older youth so we are concentrating our time to worship with them on Sunday evenings and Tuesdays. They are always welcome to join the main services on Sunday mornings.
For our year 5-7 children and young people we have Blaze, at St John's during Sunday worship.

MIDWEEK GROUP
Look in our Upcoming Events to see when each session is running and also to find out about other events happening for our young people.
IGNITE
Ignite is a place to have fun, build relationships, be a family and to learn more about God.
Ignite is run at St Luke's Church, Franklin Square, HG1 5EL
4TWELVE
The name ‘4twelve’ came from 1 Timothy 4: 12
‘Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity’.
The aim of this group is to go deeper into the bible and to develop our relationship with God whilst having lots of fun and good discussions. It will also be a place where young people can discuss issues that are important and relevant to them and how being a Christian might impact the way we react to these issues.
4twelve is currently running at Harrogate Chocolate Factory every Tuesday.
BLAZE
Blaze is our Sunday morning children's group for those in years 5 to 7 which takes place in St John's East End during Sunday worship. Worship, fun and pastries for our older children.
We usually run a Youth Alpha course once a year which works towards the young people's confirmation by the Bishop.
This is open to any young person in Year 9 upwards.
Join us for our monthly YOUTH WORSHIP NIGHT where we join with youth groups from across Harrogate and come together to worship, and eat chips,
at Artizan Cafe, next to McDonalds
All our children and young people must be registered on iKnow Church. If you are new to groups please email the parish administrator to be added onto the system. To access iKnow as an existing user click here
